Article Title: High-density culture of bovine embryonic stem cell–derived mesenchymal cells on edible scaffolds for structured cultivated meat
doi: 10.64898/2026.04.23.720345
Figure Lengend Snippet: Bovine induced mesenchymal stem cells (iMSCs) were subjected to adipogenic differentiation under suspension and adherent culture conditions. Representative morphology of differentiated iMSCs is shown following 14 days of induction in suspension culture and 6 days of induction in adherent culture (A,B). Intracellular lipid accumulation was visualised by brightfield microscopy and confirmed using Oil Red O staining and fluorescent lipid labelling with Biotracker dye (i–iii), demonstrating adipogenic differentiation in both culture formats. Scale bar = 100 µm.
Article Snippet: For Oil Red O (ORO) staining, cultures were fixed with 4% (w/v) paraformaldehyde (Thermo Fisher Scientific, J61889) and rinsed with 60% isopropanol (Sigma-Aldrich, I9516).
